I seriously hate crickets. But I almost don't have the energy to hate them after the battle we've had with the ants lately. Granted, I'll take these two pests over cockroaches, moths, and spiders, but I still hate them. As I sat responding to KDH's blog, I see something out of the corner of my eye. And at that moment, I wished I had one of these puppies! I grabbed the nearest Birkenstock (with my husband, there's usually one close by) and that little bugger knew his last. As I went for a napkin to shroud my little enemy, I saw ANOTHER one, who met his end soon after. The THIRD guy I saw on my way to the napkins proved a worthy foe, but still, the whole no central nervous system thing didn't work out so well for him in the end.
By the way, I've seen these fly swatters at Z-Gallerie, and if anyone doesn't know what to get me for Christmas, throw one of these in.
P.S. Sickness update: ferferfly getting better; my two boys are now both sick. Lucky dogs have cooler temperatures forecasted tomorrow.
