My first Halloween Mom Outing

Last year was fun and games... put the baby in a suit, off to a party. This year, once we actually go the kid IN the suit (took some finessing... and some Thomas the Train), she had a grand time. I couldn't believe I was actually taking my kid trick-or-treating, and it was just a blast. We went with our neighbors. Her husband is a cop and has to work Halloween, so it was a nice joining of the forces. When I was little, we always went as a group through the neighborhood, and I have the best memories of that. After our few stops in the neighborhood to the houses we knew, we went "visiting" to the Royal Geringers' house and enjoyed their company while the kids enjoyed (who else but...) Thomas the Train.
