So I want some ideas from you. I'm looking for some good ice-breaker questions for GWF (Grace Women's Fellowship -- not Gophers Wearing Fedors, as my brother posited). I'm looking for something not silly, not stupid, something that won't put people too much on the spot. I liked this one:
*Who makes you laugh the most and why?
I'd love some that help us get to know people well, that are interesting, and are potentially meaningful without being too serious. Tall order, eh? Any great ideas?

I always liked one where you had to tell two truths and one lie about yourself and make the people guess the lie. You an get some interesting tidbits about people because you want truths that people won't believe. Mine was: I play golf, I was a zookeeper, I have a tattoo.
If I remember right, this one was done in smaller groups within the larger group. So it may not work for the size of group you have going. But who knows.
Hope that helps.
1) What's something about you that a lot of people don't know... or that might surprise someone to find out?
2) What was a high/low from your summer?
3) If you were to jump behind a cause, what would it be? (What cause really tugs at your heart?)
4) [If everyone in the group is married] what is one thing about your husband that you really love/stands out to you?
5) [If everyone has children] What 2 or 3 one-word adjectives would you choose to describe each of your children?
6) When you are going through a low time (or just a bad day) what do you do to help bring yourself out of it? What cheers you?
*Ahem*, I believe I said "Gophers Writing Freelance". :)
I like "What are all the places you've lived, and which were your favorite/least favorite?"
