Interviewing

I have been conducting a lot of interviews lately, and I gotta say, they are exhausting. I'm glad I'm on THIS side of the interview process. I really feel for the people I interview. I realize that I am now that big, scary Lady that asks all the tough questions and makes your palms sweat. I do my best to make people feel comfortable... I tell them that if they think of something later they wished they'd said or a question they forgot to ask, to email me even after the interview, but no one's taken me up on it yet. I just learned the BEST interview question... "How do you organize your closet at home?"

I do think that it is kind of crazy that I sometimes spend more time thinking about an outfit I'm going to buy than I get to spend getting to know someone I might hire... and see every day. Kind of reminds me of the 15 whole minutes I had in my current house before I committed to the largest amount of money I will EVER spend in my life.
