Home again, home again

We're home in one piece, though the 5+ hour flight home was probably the worst time I've had as a mother since the second night in the hospital. However, we are rested and home and Lucy and I are friends again. =)

Here are a few shots from our trip...

Adventurer or big retard? Zipline tour through the woods.

Can't see the waterfall or the fish, but this was Lucy's favorite spot. She now says "weeshey" which is "fishy."

Whale watching. This really was amazing, and totally worth doing again. We actually saw a real "breach" where the whale completely jumped full-body out of the water. Sweet!

Lucy commanding the troops. We stayed on the grass a lot, as cleaning up a sandy Lucy was a pretty good ordeal.

Imagine the CHUNKS of sand that fell out of her bathing suit!

Wow, looks like fun! I did a 4 hour flight with Connor by myself when he was 18 mo, so I feel your pain on that one, too!

WOW!! Good for you for doing it with a little one! It's so easy to sit around waiting for our little ones to reach "easy" ages do big things like this - and we end up letting the great experiences pass us by. Your trip looks like so much fun!
